A Few Quilting Tips

S.H. from Stillwell, KS:
"If you store your hand quilting thread in the freezer in a zip lock bag before using, it will help retain the proper moisture in the thread, this helps prevent knotting while quilting!"

L.K. from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia:
"To get an accurate seam allowance, I measure what seam allowance I need and then place a strip of "Dr. Scholl's" adhesive backed cushioning (for bunions or corns) to my sewing machine where I want my seam allowance to be. I then just have to guide my fabric along this strip. Perfect 1/4 inch every time!"
